Event FAQ’s

What time does the event start?

Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and the silent auction begin at 6:30, dinner starts at 7:30.

What is on the menu?

Hors d’oeuvres include bruschetta margherita and smoked turkey on sweet potato. Dinner includes salad with chardonnay vinaigrette, roasted bistro beef tenderloin, dauphinoise potatoes, haricot verts, and baby carrots with mushroom Madeira sauce

Dinner will be followed by an extravagant dessert station provided by Sanctuary House’s own bakery, A Sweet Success!

What is available at the silent auction?

We have a selection of unique items from the areas most beloved retailers and organizations. Highlights include a one weekend night stay at the O. Henry Hotel in Greensboro, vintage designer jewelry, and cooking classes!

What is mobile bidding?

Mobile bidding is an innovative way to place your auction bids via your smartphone. We will register you when you purchase your tickets on line. You can learn more about the new mobile bidding feature by visiting the Mobile Bidding page.

What does Musical Moods benefit?

All proceeds benefit Sanctuary House in Greensboro. Our mission is to facilitate the recovery and rehabilitation of adults with serious mental illness in Guilford County so that they may achieve and sustain satisfying, meaningful roles and lives in the community.

What else will be at the event?

We will again feature our ever popular Wall of Wine! For only $30 a bottle, you will have the opportunity to pick a bottle of white or red, with some bottles being valued at $100 or more!

Local artist Clay Howard will provide the entertainment for mingling and dinner, and Hip Pocket comes on stage for all the after dinner action! So don't forget to bring your dancing shoes as this hip upbeat band will have you dancing the night away!

Multiple cash bars are available throughout the event location for refreshment needs. Remember, there will be several opportunities for giving, so please bring your checkbook and cash for the cash bars.
